We all know that taking care of our body, mind, and soul is essential in allowing us to function optimally as human beings. However, not many of us are implanting such life styles of healthy living as we may feel the importance is not so significant. This blog is to help revitalize the importance of fitness and health in the Islamic perspective. With this blog, I hope to increase health literacy in the Islamic community to aid in individuals making life long changes that will improve their overall health status. With my educational background having completed my degree in Kinesiology and  my Master’s in Public Health, I will be using my knowledge and skills in creating informative blog posts for my fellow readers.
